 ption]\n\nLagan Valley Orienteers welcome you to the stunning Tollymore Fo
 rest Park for our second Spring Cup event.\n\nAlthough the Spring Cup is a
  club competition\, all courses are open to non-club members\, including n
 ewcomers and families.\n\nEntrance to the park is off the Bryansford Road
  with registration in the main Car Park. The start and finish are adjacent
  to the car park.\n\nRegistration is from 11am\, with starts open from 11.
 30 -1pm (those planning to attend the AGM please get an earlier start). Co
 urses close at 3pm with controls being collected.\n\nThe Forestry Service
  charges £5 for car-parking - so why not car share and save the environme
 nt as well as a few quid. Or get a yearly permit £50 car (£25 for over 6

 nIMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION\nThe following precautionary measures will
  be put in place in order to minimise the risk of infection:\n\n\n \n\n\n
 1. Do not attend if you match any of the exposure or higher risk criteria

 so as to minimise exchange of cash\n\n\n \n\n\n3. Keep social distancing 
 when queuing - Registration\, start and download \n\n\n \n\n\n4. Use hand
  gel or wash hands at the toilets before registration\n\n\n \n\n\n5. Brin
 g your own water - water will not be provided\n\n\n \n\n\n6. Do not congr
 egate closely together afterwards– to discourage congregating at the MOO
 \, there will no results screen – Live Results will be streamed to websi
 te (3G permitting)\n\n\n \n\n\nThank you for your understanding!\n\n\nThe
 re will be three courses to choose from:\n\n[caption id="attachment_7667" 
 align="alignright" width="225"] Stunning trails![/caption]\n\nYellow 1.9km
  long\, 55m climb and 10 controls. Participants will follow trails through
  some of the most beautiful parts of the forest park\, with lots of intere
 sting things to distract you along the way\; curiosities\, natural and art
 ificial - rocky outcrops and bridges.\n\nOrange 2.2km long\, 70m climb and
  9 controls. The Orange course follows a similar path to the Yellow but wi
 th a few added extras\, allowing more route choice and taking you off the 
 beaten track at times to add an extra bit of adventure.\n\n[caption id="at

 ere is Ric having a rest?[/caption]\n\nGreen 4.6km long\, 110m climb and 1
 4 controls. The green course will take runners through all manner of tree 
 cover. On your way round see if you can spot giant redwoods\, pines\, oak\
 , spruce\, cedars and even monkey puzzle and eucalyptus. Although the leng
 th is at the top end for a Green course\, with good route choice you shoul
 d find yourself with excellent underfoot conditions and gradual climbs. Ma
 p updates have been made specifically for this event\, so venture into the
  thick undergrowth at your peril - you have been warned!\n\nAdult cost £7
  Member (£9 Non-member)\n\nJunior cost £3 Member (£4 Non-member)\n\nFam
 ily £17 Member (£22 Non-member)\n\nNewcomers please introduce yourself\,
  there will be someone at registration and the start to literally point yo
 u in the right direction. Also you can ask about the annual membership sav
 ings and benefits!\n\nClub AGM \n\nAfter the race\, LVO's AGM will be held
  at Tollymore National Outdoor Centre at 3pm. When exiting Tollymore Fores
 t Park turn left and exactly a mile up the Hilltown Road\, the entrance to
  TNOC is on the left. \n\nPlease come along to celebrate the successes of 
 the previous year and have your say in the future direction of our club.
