Event Description

Spring Cup 1 is a great opportunity to get out and blow away the winter cobwebs! There are courses for everyone and newcomers are especially welcome.

Be prepared for muddy conditions as Parkanaur Forest has collected its fair share of the rain that has fallen in recent weeks.
The river is running very high; also note that the ditches sometimes hold deep water and are unusually steep sided in places.
Some earthbanks have broken down fences on top that are hard to see.

Map Scale is 1:7500 with contours at 5m intervals.

There are a few important rules to keep us all safe:
Do not cross the river, except by the bridges.
Young competitors on the Yellow course must be shadowed by an adult.
You must carry a whistle and are advised to wear a cagoule.
Full leg cover is strongly recommended.
All courses pass through the deer park – it is important to ensure the gates close at the entrance and exit to this paddock.

Registration is in the main car park and opens at 11:30.
There are toilets nearby in the courtyard of the big house.
Note the start times shown above are slightly later than originally listed.
Courses close at 15:30 and controls will be lifted straight away.
