 Forest Park\n\n\nEvent Format\nClub Score Championship\n\nAnyone can enter
  and enjoy a run but only current LVO members can be classified as eligibl
 e/competitive for the title of Club Score Champion. Note: membership renew
 al is due on the 1st January!\n\nIf you are fairly new to orienteering\, d
 on’t let the sound of 'club championship' put you off – there are 3 di
 fferent courses to choose from and you are welcome to run round as a pair 
 or family/friendship group (although to be deemed competitive you need to 
 enter as an individual).\n\n⏰ A score event is different to a normal cro
 ss country orienteering event in that\, there are a number of controls whi
 ch you can visit in any order you wish within a set time. Controls may be 
 worth different values and it is very unlikely that you will be able to vi
 sit them all. So\, you will need to plan your best route to get back befor
 e the set time. Lateness back will bring point penalties.\n\n\nOnline Entr

 or Course 1 is suitable for Primary School Children – courses stick clos
 e to paths\, and the use of a compass is not necessary (technical difficul
 ty 2). This is the MW8/10 Championship course and has a time limit of 30 m
 inutes.\n\n2️⃣ Junior/Novice Senior Course 2 is suitable for improving
  Juniors and novice adults – the ability to use compass and navigate awa
 y from paths is needed (technical difficulty 3/4). This is the MW12/14 Cha
 mpionship Course and also has a time limit of 45 minutes.\n\n3️⃣ Senio
 r Course 3 is suitable for competent orienteers (technical difficulty 4/5)
 . Some controls will be placed far away and in physically and technically 
 challenging terrain. This is the Senior Championship course for MW16s and 
 over only. This course has a time limit of 60 minutes.\n\nTime penalties 
 – for every minute/part minute you are late you will be deducted 10 poin
 ts on Course 1 and 20 points for courses 2 and 3.\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safet
 y\nThere will be a first aid and a qualified first aider available at regi
 stration. Registration is also a safe place for lost children to wait.\n\n
 Please do not come to the event if you are unwell.\n\nPlease bring and car
 ry any medication you might need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\n
 If you come across an injured or ill person\, please stop\, help and get f
 urther help. There will likely be qualified first aiders on the course who
  can stop to provide support.\n\nAll participants must return to download\
 , whether they complete the course or not. This is to account for all comp
 etitors\, ensuring everyone’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and con
 trols collected in at 12.30pm sharp. If you are still out on the course at
  this time return to finish and download immediately.\n\n\nKit requirement
 s\nFull body cover is mandatory.\n\nA whistle (emergency alert is 6 loud b
 lasts per minute) is mandatory.\n\nA waterproof jacket may also be mandato
 ry if the organisers decide the weather requires one\, so bring one along 
 just in case.\n\n\nParking\nCar parking at the Belvoir Activity Centre. Ov
 erflow at BB Sports field pavilion car park - as you leave the Activity ce
 ntre take a left and it is the second road on your left before the main en
 trance to the Park.  It is just a 3 minute walk from the BB car park back
  down to the Activity centre\, passing the 3G pitch and Forestside Church.
 \n\n\nToilets\nToilets are located inside the Belvoir Activity Centre.\n\n
