 s who are not members of British Orienteering or of another orienteering f
 ederation are not covered by British Orienteering’s public liability ins
 urance. You are welcome to enter this event\, but please understand that y
 ou are taking part at your own risk. For example\, if you were to accident
 ally injure a member of the public or damage property during the event\, y
 ou would not be covered. Members of Orienteering Ireland are covered by Br

 ong paths with more route choice decisions. Appropriate for newcomers and 
 younger juniors with some experience.\n🟠 Orange – km + m climb – sk
 ills needed to navigate away from paths and more route choice decisions\, 
 some compass skills are expected. Aimed at novice adults and improving jun
 iors.\n🟢 Short Green – km + m climb – technically demanding but les
 s physical course.\n🔵 Short Blue – km + m climb – technically and p
 hysically demanding course.\n\n\nFirst Aid and Safety\nWatch out for other
  park users\, including dog walkers and bikers.\n\nThere will be a first a
 id and a qualified first aider available at registration. Registration is 
 also a safe place for lost children to wait.\n\nPlease do not come to the 
 event if you are unwell.\n\nPlease bring and carry any medication you migh
 t need\, especially inhalers and EpiPen’s.\n\nIf you come across an inju
 red or ill person\, please stop\, help and get further help. There will li
 kely be qualified first aiders on the course who can stop to provide suppo
 rt.\n\nAll participants must return to download\, whether they complete th
 e course or not. This is to account for all competitors\, ensuring everyon
 e’s safe return.\n\nCourses will close and controls collected in at 3pm 
 sharp. If you are still out on the course at this time return to finish an
 d download immediately.\n\n\nKit requirements\nFull body cover is mandator
 y.\n\nA whistle (emergency alert is 6 loud blasts per minute) is mandatory
 .\n\nA waterproof jacket may also be mandatory if the organisers decide th
