 ve\, more confident\, and find friends to run about with in forests and up
  mountains? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family ca
 n take part in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invi
 tes you to Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about
  orienteering together and find out about how to get involved in our excit
 ing club and sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. I
 f children are younger\, please get in contact with us (email juniors_fami
 lies@lvo.org.uk) to find out other exciting orienteering opportunities for
  them.\n\nAll children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of
  the coaching\, up to a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a 
 drop-off service.\n\n\nEntry/Registration\nRegister here via this ONLINE F
 ORM.\n\n\nRegistration closes\nMidnight\, Wednesday 24 September 2025\n\n\
 nStart Times\nArrive 10.45am for registration. Coaching takes place 11am t
 o 12pm\, with a chance to catch up with coaches and friends over tea/coffe
 e/squash until 12.30pm.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Training is free for members of L
 VO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland.\n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome t
 o attend any of our activities and events\, but there is a £3 fee per chi
 ld for this activity\, up to a max of £10 per family. After attending thr
 ee orienteering events\, people must join a club so they are insured. For 
 2025 membership\, JOIN HERE via the British Orienteering website\, selecti
 ng LVO as your club.\n\n\nTerrain Summary\nTollymore forest is a great pla
 ce to discover the sport of orienteering. It has a network of paths and tr
 acks to help navigate\, as well as runnable forest with a variety of featu
 res. The forest is popular with hikers\, runners\, dog walkers\, horse rid
 ers and mountain bikers\, so take care and treat others with courtesy.\n\n

 organised into children with the same level of technical ability\, each ha
 ving a dedicated coach.\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is
  mandatory. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will be 
 mandatory. As well as times of exercise there will be periods of coaching 
 when you will be stationary\, so layer up – bring along an extra jumper\
 , a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop o
 ff point with a coach present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not 
 responsible for the safe keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your ow
 n risk\, so please leave any valuables in the car. All should carry whistl
 es.\n\n\nParking\n£5 at entrance\; free if you have annual pass (cost of
