 more confident\, and find friends to run about with in forests and up moun
 tains? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family can tak
 e part in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invites y
 ou to Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about orie
 nteering together and find out about how to get involved in our exciting c
 lub and sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. If chi
 ldren are younger\, please get in contact with us (email juniors_families@
 lvo.org.uk) to find out other exciting orienteering opportunities for them
 .\n\nAll children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the 
 coaching\, up to a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop-
 off service.\n\n\nEntry/Registration\nClick here!\n\n\nRegistration closes
 \nMidnight\, Wednesday 22 July 2025\n\n\nStart Times\nArrive 10.45am for r
 egistration. Coaching takes place 11am to 12pm\, with a chance to catch up
  with coaches and friends over tea/coffee/squash until 12.30pm.\n\n\nPrice
 \n💰 Training is free for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland
 .\n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome to attend any of our activities and
  events\, but there is a £3 fee per child for this activity\, up to a max
  of £10 per family. After attending three orienteering events\, people mu
 st join a club so they are insured. For 2025 membership\, JOIN HERE via th
 e British Orienteering website\, selecting LVO as your club.\n\n\nTerrain 
 Summary\nTollymore forest is a great place to discover the sport of orient
 eering. It has a network of paths and tracks to help navigate\, as well as
  runnable forest with a variety of features. The forest is popular with hi
 kers\, runners\, dog walkers\, horse riders and mountain bikers\, so take 
 care and treat others with courtesy.\n\n\nPrevious Maps/Routegadget\nTolly

 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Groups will be organised into children with the 
 same level of technical ability\, each having a dedicated coach.\n\n\nKit 
 requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weather is col
 d or wet – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as times of ex
 ercise there will be periods of coaching when you will be stationary\, so 
 layer up – bring along an extra jumper\, a hat and gloves to keep comfor
 table. There is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach present or 
 close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the safe keeping 
 of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please leave any valu
 ables in the car. All should carry whistles.\n\n\nParking\n£5 at entrance
 \; free if you have annual pass (cost of £40).\n\n\n\nToilets\nBeside mai
