 e\, more confident\, and find friends to run about with in forests and up 
 mountains? Would like to learn a new outdoor sport that all the family can
  take part in?\n\nTaking place on the last Sunday of the month\, LVO invit
 es you to Running Wild\, a chance for like-minded families to learn about 
 orienteering together and find out about how to get involved in our exciti
 ng club and sport.\n\nSessions are for children in Primary 4 and above. If
  children are younger\, please get in contact with us (email chair@lvo.org
 .uk) to find out other exciting orienteering opportunities for them.\n\nAl
 l children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the coachin
 g\, up to a maximum of four children per adult. This is not a drop-off ser

 rrive 10.45am for registration. Coaching takes place 11am to 12pm\, with a
  chance to catch up with coaches and friends over tea/coffee/squash until 
 12.30pm.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Training is free for members of LVO\, NIOA and O
 rienteering Ireland.\n\n💰 Non-members are also welcome to attend any of
  our activities and events\, but there is a £3 fee per child for this act
 ivity\, up to a max of £10 per family. After attending three orienteering
  events\, people must join a club so they are insured.\n\nFrom 1 September
  to 31 December 2024\, new members pay £4 for juniors (up to 20 years old
 )\, £8 for young adults (up to £25)\, £10 for seniors and £20 for fami
 lies (2 seniors + 1 or more juniors). Sign-up HERE via the BOF website\, s
 electing LVO as your club.\n\n\nTerrain Summary\nTollymore forest is a gre
 at place to discover the sport of orienteering. It has a network of paths 
 and tracks to help navigate\, as well as runnable forest with a variety of
  features. The forest is popular with hikers\, runners\, dog walkers\, hor
 se riders and mountain bikers\, so take care and treat others with courtes

 ll be organised into children with the same level of technical ability\, e
 ach having a dedicated coach.\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body co
 ver is mandatory. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket wi
 ll be mandatory. As well as times of exercise there will be periods of coa
 ching when you will be stationary\, so layer up – bring along an extra j
 umper\, a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag 
 drop off point with a coach present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach i
 s not responsible for the safe keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at y
 our own risk\, so please leave any valuables in the car. All should carry 
 whistles.\n\n\nParking\n£5 at entrance\; free if you have annual pass (co
