DESCRIPTION:Orchard County Orienteers welcome you along to the third of fou
 r great Summer Series Orienteering activities at Gosford Forest.\n\nSunday
  23 Aug\, Starts from 2.00-3.30pm. Courses will close at 5pm.\n\nCost is 
 £3 per map\, which you will get at the start and can keep. You will also 
 get the loan of a 'dibber' / timing chip and a compass if necessary.\n\nWe
 ar comfortable clothes and footwear. Hopefully it will be warm and dry but
  if there are showers in the forecast\, please bring a light waterproof ja
 cket.\n\nYour place\, your pace - Whether you want to run round individual
 ly or explore as a pair or in a group is entirely up to you. There will be
  courses available for all ages and stages.\n\nFirst timers are very welco
 me - there will be instructions on what to do and easier courses to help y
 ou explore the forest park. Beginner families and younger (Primary School 
 age) children should probably choose the Yellow course which stays close t
 o paths.\n\nFor Improvers with some navigation experience with a map and c
 ompass\, why not try the Orange Course\, which is a bit longer and gets yo
 u off the beaten track.\n\nThose more experienced can try out the Light Gr
 een Course. This course will take you into the forest and off paths where 
 the use of a compass is necessary.\n\nPlease enter this event online by 9p
