DESCRIPTION:Orchard County Orienteers welcome you along to the first of fou
 r great Summer Series Orienteering activities at Gosford Forest.\n\nSunday
  9 Aug\, Starts from 2.00-4.00pm. Courses will close at 5pm.\n\nCost is £
 3 per map\, which you will get at the start and can keep. You will also ge
 t the loan of a 'dibber' / timing chip and a compass if necessary.\n\nWear
  comfortable clothes and footwear. Hopefully it will be warm and dry but i
 f there are showers in the forecast\, please bring a light waterproof jack
 et.\n\nYour place\, your pace - Whether you want to run round individually
  or explore as a pair or in a group is entirely up to you. There will be c
 ourses available for all ages and stages.\n\nFirst timers are very welcome
  - there will be instructions on what to do and easier courses to help you
  explore the forest park. Beginner families and younger (Primary School ag
 e) children should probably choose the Yellow course which stays close to 
 paths.\n\nFor Improvers with some navigation experience with a map and com
 pass\, why not try the Orange Course\, which is a bit longer and gets you 
 off the beaten track.\n\nThose more experienced can try out the Light Gree
 n Course. This course will take you into the forest and off paths where th
 e use of a compass is necessary.\n\nPlease enter this event online by 9pm
