DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n🏡Terrain:\nThis area was last used in 2019 and for a M
 apRun course\, it is a mix of urban estate streets and wooded river glen.
   The area is bounded by busier main roads but the core of the map has re
 latively quiet routes.\n\n💚Safety:\nTraffic - the Orchard Leisure Centr
 e (Folly Lane and part of Killuney Drive) tends to have a bit more traffic
  then the rest of the area\, so caution needed to give way to traffic.\nOt
 her users - The walking paths in the glen can be narrow and attract dog-wa
 lkers and the odd biker\, so better to keep your head up.\nNatural hazards
  - The river is usually crossable at points but that will depend on what t
 he July monsoons have in store. There are some dangerous crags along the g
 len which the planner will steer us safely away from.\nDownload - all part
 icipants must download\, reporting in at the end of your run.\n\n\n🏃‍
 ♀️🏃‍♂️Course lengths:\nProvisional lengths\, Long ~8k\, Mediu
 m ~5k and Short ~3k.\nThese are optimal lengths\, so the shortest distance
  if you choose all the correct route choices. The Short Course is designed
  with juniors (Under 16s) in mind\, sticking to the quieter residential an
 d glen areas. Under 16s must be accompanied on the Medium and Long courses
 .\n\n\nParking and facilities:\n🅿Parking - We hope to be able to use th
 e Orchard Leisure Centre carpark and on-street parking in the immediate vi
 cinity. There are no parking charges. If parking at the Leisure Centre ple
 ase be aware that gates will close at 5pm. So if you are on a later run yo
 u may wish to use on-street parking.\n\n🚻Toilets are available at Leisu
 re Centre.\n\n🍴Other facilities - The Leisure Centre has a cafe that's 
 open until 3.30pm\, with the pool closing at 4.30pm and the centre closing
  shortly afterwards.\nThere are other food options in the city\, though pe
 ople should be reminded the centre is embargoed for a major champs next ye
 ar!\n\n\nEntries:\n💻Online entries will be open soon on SiEntries and w
 ill close at midnight on Thursday 14th July.\n\n\n 	Juniors £4 (NIOA /BOF
 /IOA members £3)\n 	Full-time Student £4 (NIOA /BOF/IOA members £3)\n 	
 Seniors £9 (NIOA /BOF/IOA members £7)\n 	There will be entry on the day 
 but members will be charged the non-member price.\n\n\n\n\n✅Registration
 \, Start\, Finish and Download will all be situated close to the Leisure C
 entre.\nStarts are from 1.00pm -3.30pm. If you have entered online and hav
 e your own dibber\, you may proceed directly to the start.\n\n\n\n👋New

 e start to welcome you and answer any questions. Say hi to the person on r
 egistration where you will pick up a dibber (electronic timing device) the
 n go to start where you will pick up a map and off you go!\nYou are free t
 o go round the course on your own\, as a pair or a group/family unit. 👨
