 etition. Taking place seven times a year (Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/May/Sep/Oct)\, c
 lub coaches put on sessions for orienteers\, no matter your age or level.

 art Times\nArrive 10am for registration. Coaching takes place 10.15am to 1
 2.15pm.\n\nControl gathering 12.15pm to 12.45pm. Social of shared packed l
 unch takes place afterwards 12.45pm to 2pm.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Club Meets ar
 e FREE for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland as well as O-Pla
 y and TD1/2 Juniors.\n\nNon-members are also welcome to attend any of our 
 activities and events but there is a £5 fee per person for this activity.
  After attending three orienteering events\, people must join a club so th

 nPlease note: Participants who are not members of British Orienteering or 
 of another orienteering federation are not covered by British Orienteering
 ’s public liability insurance. You are welcome to enter this event\, but
  please understand that you are taking part at your own risk. For example\
 , if you were to accidentally injure a member of the public or damage prop
 erty during the event\, you would not be covered. Members of Orienteering 
 Ireland are covered by British Orienteering insurance. \n\n\nTerrain Summ

 👩‍👧‍👦 Groups will be organised into people with the same leve
 l of technical ability\, each having a dedicated coach:\n\n⚪🟡 Technic
 al Difficulty (TD) 1 and 2 (White and Yellow) Easy courses with all contro
 ls mostly on linear features such as paths\, walls and streams. Suitable f
 or P4 children and above and adult newcomers who want a gentle introductio
 n to orienteering.\n🟠 TD 3 (Orange) Courses use basic use of a compass 
 and route choice. Ideal for novice orienteers or young juniors with experi
 ence (ideally aged 10 and above).\n🟢🔵🟤 TD4 and 5 (Lt Green\, Gree
 n\, Blue and Brown) Challenging navigation with route choice and using mor
 e contour and point features suitable for experienced juniors and adults.\
 n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weath
 er is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as ti
 mes of exercise there will be periods of coaching when you will be station
 ary\, so layer up – bring along a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. Th
 ere is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach present or close by.
  NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the safe keeping of the ki
 t\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please leave any valuables in 
 the car. All should carry whistles. Bring a compass if you use and have on
 e. Some base plate and thumb compasses will be available to borrow and try
  out. Dibbers are not required.\n\n\nParking\nOverflow carpark at the Lisb
