A way to improve your orienteering skills in a social way without the pressure of competition. Taking place every 2nd Saturday of the month (except June- August and December)\, club coaches put on sessions for orienteers\, no ma tter your age or level. Everyone is welcome!\n\nThis month is orienteering relay training. Suitable for P4 children and above and adult newcom ers who want a gentle introduction to orienteering.\n🟠 TD 3 (Orange) Co urses use basic use of a compass and route choice. Ideal for novice orient eers or young juniors with experience (ideally aged 10 and above).\n🟢 🔵🟤 TD4 and 5 (Lt Green\, Green\, Blue and Brown) Challenging navigat ion with route choice and using more contour and point features suitable f or experienced juniors and adults.\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full bo dy cover is mandatory. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterproof jack et will be mandatory. As well as times of exercise there will be periods o f coaching when you will be stationary\, so layer up – bring along a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop off poin t with a coach present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not respons ible for the safe keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\ , so please leave any valuables in the car. All should carry whistles. Bri ng a compass if you use and have one. Some base plate and thumb compasses will be available to borrow and try out. Dibbers are not required.\n\nBrin g warm clothing and liquids to start area.
