 our orienteering skills in a social way without the pressure of competitio
 n. Taking place six times a year (Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/Sep/Oct)\, club coaches 
 put on sessions for orienteers\, no matter your age or level. Everyone is 
 welcome!\n\n\nEntry/Registration\nRegister via this ONLINE FORM\n\n\nRegis
 tration closes\nMidnight\, Tuesday 10 March 2026\n\n\nStart Times\nArrive 
 10am for registration. Coaching takes place 10.15am to 12.15pm.\n\nControl
  gathering 12.15pm to 12.45pm. Social of shared packed lunch takes place a
 fterwards 12.45pm to 2pm.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Club Meets are FREE for members
  of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland as well as TD1/2 Juniors.\n\nNon-m
 embers are also welcome to attend any of our activities and events but the
 re is a £5 fee per person for this activity. After attending three orient
 eering events\, people must join a club so they are insured.\n\nJoin our c

 are not members of British Orienteering or of another orienteering federat
 ion are not covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance
 . You are welcome to enter this event\, but please understand that you are
  taking part at your own risk. For example\, if you were to accidentally i
 njure a member of the public or damage property during the event\, you wou
 ld not be covered. Members of Orienteering Ireland are covered by British

 Notes/Courses\nThe planned training consists of a longish session of mass 
 starts followed by gaffled legs and finishes with a proper 3 man relay (wi
 th v short courses) to practice the whole mass start\, hand over and atmos
 phere / pressure of a relay. A a simple yellow course will be available if
  there are younger members.\n\nWe will be heading away from the car park (
 top car park in STLD) to an assembly well into the park\, so folk should b
 e ready to bring their warm clothing\, liquids etc with them. All of the s
 ession will be run from the assembly. If the weather is fine\, then picnic
  lunch could happen there or could be on the picnic tables at the car park
 . Decision on the day.\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 Full body cover is 
 advised. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterproof jacket will be man
 datory. As well as times of exercise there will be periods of coaching whe
 n you will be stationary\, so layer up – bring along a hat and gloves to
  keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop off point with a coach
  present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the s
 afe keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please le
 ave any valuables in the car.\n\nAll should carry whistles. Bring a compas
 s if you use and have one. Some base plate and thumb compasses will be ava
 ilable to borrow and try out.\n\nWe will only need dibbers for the relay\,
