 gh Forest\n\n\nEvent Format\nClub Meet\, Coaching and Social. A way to imp
 rove your orienteering skills in a social way without the pressure of comp
 etition. Taking place every 2nd Saturday of the month (except June\, July\
 , August and December)\, club coaches put on sessions for orienteers\, no 
 matter your age or level. Everyone is welcome!\n\n\nEntry/Registration\nRe
 gister via this ONLINE FORM\n\n\nRegistration closes\nMidnight\, Tuesday 7
  January 2025\n\n\nStart Times\nArrive 10am for registration (NOTE EARLIER
  TIME). Coaching takes place 10.15am to 12.15pm (We've heard you. You want
  longer coaching time).\n\nControl gathering 12.15pm to 12.45pm. Social of
  shared packed lunch takes place afterwards 12.45pm to 2pm.\n\n\nPrice\n
 💰 Club Meets are FREE for members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Irelan
 d as well as O-Play and TD1/2 Juniors.\n\nNon-members are also welcome to 
 attend any of our activities and events but there is a £5 fee per person 
 for this activity. After attending three orienteering events\, people must

 ‍👦 Groups will be organised into people with the same level of techni
 cal ability\, each having a dedicated coach:\nO-Play - for children in P3 
 and under\, accompanied by their parents.\n⚪🟡 Technical Difficulty (T
 D) 1 and 2 (White and Yellow) Easy courses with all controls mostly on lin
 ear features such as paths\, walls and streams. Suitable for P4 children a
 nd above and adult newcomers who want a gentle introduction to orienteerin
 g.\n🟠 TD 3 (Orange) Courses use basic use of a compass and route choice
 . Ideal for novice orienteers or young juniors with experience (ideally ag
 ed 10 and above).\n🟢🔵🟤 TD4 and 5 (Lt Green\, Green\, Blue and Bro
 wn) Challenging navigation with route choice and using more contour and po
 int features suitable for experienced juniors and adults.\n\n\nKit require
 ments\n🧥👖 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weather is cold or we
 t – a waterproof jacket will be mandatory. As well as times of exercise 
 there will be periods of coaching when you will be stationary\, so layer u
 p – bring along a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to
  be a bag drop off point with a coach present or close by. NOTE: the club 
 or coach is not responsible for the safe keeping of the kit\, it is droppe
 d off at your own risk\, so please leave any valuables in the car. All sho
 uld carry whistles. Bring a compass if you use and have one. Some base pla
 te and thumb compasses will be available to borrow and try out. Dibbers ar

 orough Parish Church\, Main Street. NOTE: there is a one way system in pla
 ce\, use the right hand gate to enter. There is limited parking\, so pleas
 e car pool if possible. There is additional parking at the forest park.\n\
