 ial. A way to improve your orienteering skills in a social way without the
  pressure of competition. Taking place seven times a year (Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr
 /May/Sep/Oct)\, club coaches put on sessions for orienteers\, no matter yo
 ur age or level. Everyone is welcome!\n\nLVO's AGM will take place from 1p

 m for registration\, followed by a discussion on score stratagies\, then a

 ch takes\, finishing with the AGM.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Club Meets are FREE fo
 r members of LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland as well as O-Play and TD1
 /2 Juniors.\n\nNon-members are also welcome to attend any of our activitie
 s and events but there is a £5 fee per person for this activity. After at
 tending three orienteering events\, people must join a club so they are in

 e: Participants who are not members of British Orienteering or of another 
 orienteering federation are not covered by British Orienteering’s public

 ial - "Learn How to Score with LVO". This Club Meet will be a little diffe
 rnet\, starting with a discussion indoor considering strategies for a Scor
 e event\, in preparation for the NI Score Orienteering Championships on 21
  February. We will then have the opportunity to practice with a 45minute s
 core session\, returning for a table discussion with coaches over packed l
 unches. (Remember to bring your lunch!) The day will conclude with the AGM
 .\n⚪🟡 Score orienteering has its challenges for novices\, which will 
 be discussed at the briefing. Technical Difficulty (TD) 1 and 2 (White and
  Yellow) will be able to be accompanies by a coach in a group. Suitable fo
 r P4 children and above and adult newcomers who want a gentle introduction
  to orienteering.\n🟠 TD 3 (Orange) Again score orienteering has its cha
 llenges\, which will be discussed so improvers will have the option to bud
 dy up. Courses use basic use of a compass and route choice. Ideal for novi
 ce orienteers or young juniors with experience (ideally aged 10 and above)
 .\n🟢🔵🟤 TD4 and 5 (Lt Green\, Green\, Blue and Brown) Challenging 
 navigation with route choice and using more contour and point features sui
 table for experienced juniors and adults.\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 
 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterpro
 of jacket will be mandatory. Layer up – bring along a hat and gloves to 
 keep comfortable and a change for afterwards. Kit bags can be left in the 
 education building. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the saf
 e keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please leav
 e any valuables in the car. All should carry whistles. Bring a compass if 
 you use and have one. Some base plate and thumb compasses will be availabl
 e to borrow and try out. Dibbers will be used.\n\n\nParking\nParking in th
 e main car park at Gosford Forest Park\, Markethill\, Armagh BT60 1GD and 
 note this is FREE for orienteers\, since the booking includes the hire of 
 the Education Room/Function Room. Please advise the ranger at the ticket b
