NOTE: there is a one way system in place\, use the right hand gate to enter. There is lim ited parking\, so please car pool if possible. There is additional parking at the forest park. \n \n📆 Taking place every 2nd Saturday of the mo nth (except July\, August and December)\, club coaches will put on session s for orienteers\, no matter your age or level. Everyone is welcome!\n \n 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Groups will be organised into people with the sam e level of technical ability\, each having a dedicated coach.\n⚪🟡TD 1 &\;2 (White &\; Yellow) Easy courses with all controls mostly on lin ear features such as paths\, walls and streams. Suitable for primary schoo l children and adult newcomers who want a gentle introduction to orienteer ing.\n🟠TD 3 (Orange) Courses use basic use of a compass and route choic e. Ideal for novice orienteers or young juniors with experience.\n🟢🔵 🟤TD4&\;5 (Lt Green &\; above) Challenging navigation with route c hoice and using more contour and point features suitable for experienced j uniors and adults.  \n💬For example\, at the first two club meets\, TD2 worked on identifying and using line features and junctions to navigate\; TD3 this month are looking at how control descriptions relate to the map symbols and the what they actually look like on the ground\, as well as a few more compass skills. TD4&\;5 have worked on more advanced skills su ch as on relocation and map simplification. Arrive by 10.15am so everyone is ready to go at 10.30am. Coaching sessions will end at 12.30 and afterwards we are all  invited to bring along a packed lunch and socialise afterwards. NOTE: the club or coach is not responsible for the safe keeping of th e kit\, it is dropped off at your own risk\, so please leave any valuables in the car.\nJuniors should carry a whistle.
