 \n\n\nEvent Format\nClub Meet\, Coaching and Social. A way to improve your
  orienteering skills in a social way without the pressure of competition. 
 Taking place six times a year (Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/Sep/Oct)\, club coaches put
  on sessions for orienteers\, no matter your age or level. Everyone is wel
 come!\n\n\nEntry/Registration\nRegister via this ONLINE FORM\n\n\nRegistra
 tion closes\nMidnight\, Tuesday 7 April 2026\n\n\nStart Times\nArrive 10am
  for registration. Coaching takes place 10.15am to 12.15pm.\n\nControl gat
 hering 12.15pm to 12.45pm. Social of shared packed lunch takes place after
 wards 12.45pm to 2pm.\n\n\nPrice\n💰 Club Meets are FREE for members of 
 LVO\, NIOA and Orienteering Ireland as well as for TD1/2 Juniors.\n\nNon-m
 embers are also welcome to attend any of our activities and events but the
 re is a £5 fee per person for this activity. After attending three orient
 eering events\, people must join a club so they are insured.\n\nJoin our c

 are not members of British Orienteering or of another orienteering federat
 ion are not covered by British Orienteering’s public liability insurance
 . You are welcome to enter this event\, but please understand that you are
  taking part at your own risk. For example\, if you were to accidentally i
 njure a member of the public or damage property during the event\, you wou
 ld not be covered. Members of Orienteering Ireland are covered by British

 577\n\n\nNotes/Courses\n👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Groups will be organised
  into people with the same level of technical ability\, each having a dedi
 cated coach:\n⚪🟡 Technical Difficulty (TD) 1 and 2 (White and Yellow)
  - the mountain area is too technical for this age group\, so the Club Mee
 t this time around will not provide coaching for this.\n🟠 TD 3 (Orange)
  Courses use basic use of a compass and route choice. Ideal for novice adu
 lt orienteers or young juniors with experience (ideally aged 10 and above)
 .\n🟢🔵🟤 TD4 and 5 (Lt Green\, Green\, Blue and Brown) Challenging 
 navigation with route choice and using more contour and point features sui
 table for experienced juniors and adults.\n\n\nKit requirements\n🧥👖 
 Full body cover is mandatory. If the weather is cold or wet – a waterpro
 of jacket will be mandatory. As well as times of exercise there will be pe
 riods of coaching when you will be stationary\, so layer up – bring alon
 g a hat and gloves to keep comfortable. There is likely to be a bag drop o
 ff point with a coach present or close by. NOTE: the club or coach is not 
 responsible for the safe keeping of the kit\, it is dropped off at your ow
 n risk\, so please leave any valuables in the car. All should carry whistl
 es. Bring a compass if you use and have one. Some base plate and thumb com
 passes will be available to borrow and try out. Dibbers are not required.\
 n\n\nParking\nParking at Slievenagore Equestrian Centre. Cost is £3 per c
 ar in Honesty Box. Room for up to 40 vehicles but maybe less if centre is 
 busy. Allows access to Bann Road into Slievenagore area via 50m section of
  Moyad Road.\n\n\n\nToilets\nThere is one toilet and a small café open at
  the weekend.\n\n\n\n&nbsp\;
