DESCRIPTION:PRE-ENTRIES CLOSE - 19th October\n\nCourses\n\nThere will be fo
 ur courses to pick from this year rather than the three we previously put 
 on\, so definitely something for everyone:\n\nThere will be four courses t
 o pick from this year rather than the three we previously put on\, so defi
 nitely something for everyone:\n\n🟡Yellow\, 1.9km and 90m climb –  a
  beginner course specifically suited to children or families to explore to
 gether\n\n🟠Orange\, 2.1km and 90m climb –  an improvers course\, for
  children with orienteering experience or beginner adults who want a bit m
 ore adventure off the beaten track.\n\n🟢Short Green\, 2.5km and 120m cl
 imb –  a technically challenging course but not too long and physical.\
 n\n🔵Short Blue\, 4.3km and 150m climb –  a longer and more physical\
 , technically difficult course.\n\nA 1:10\,000 scale\, 5m contour interval
  will be in use for all courses.\nYellow and Orange courses will have text
  and symbol control descriptions available.\n\n\nAdditional course Notes:\
 nShort Blue: will require competitors to cross a dry stone wall.  Some se
 ctions of the wall are lined with barbed wire.  They should take care not
  to cause damage themselves or the wall when crossing.\n\nThere are some h
 orses and long horn cows on the hill side.\nCompetitors should consider th
 e rough and technical nature of the area when selecting a course appropria
 te to their ability.\n\n\nRegistration/Start/Finish\n\nRegistration at Equ
 estrian Centre.\n\nStart Times  11:00-13:00\nStarts are 1.2km (15-20mins)
  up the Bann Road (mountain vehicle track) from the car park. The Finish i
 s 0.9k from the car park.  Competitors need to use the main road for 50m 
 to access Bann Road and should exercise care when doing so.\n\nParking\n\n
 Parking at the Gamekeepers Lodge Equestrian Centre near Attical off the B2
 7.\n\nThere will be a £3 parking charge per vehicle. This is collected in
  a courtesy box - please have the correct change. \n\nYou must park immedi
 ately left after entering the yard. Saturday is the Centre’s busy day an
 d we must leave as much room as possible for their customers\, many of who
 m will be towing horse-boxes.\n\nToilets and facilities\n\nThere is 1 Toil
 et at Equestrian Centre.\n\nThere is a café which is normally open on Sat
 urday.\n\nRegistration/Start/Finish\n\nRegistration at Equestrian Centre.\
 n\nStarts are 850m up the Bann Road (mountain vehicle track) from the car 
 park. Competitors need to use the main road for 50m to access Bann Road an
 d should exercise care when doing so.\n\nSafety\n\nWhistles and full leg c
 over is mandatory. Also bring along a waterproof top may also be mandator
 y if forecast is unkind.\n\nSorry no dogs allowed. This is a grazed area a
 nd there are dogs on site at the equestrian centre.\n\nAll competitors MUS
 T visit the download station even if you do not finish your course. Otherw
 ise\, unnecessary time will be spent looking for you. Courses close at 14.
 30. Safety bearing TBC\n\nTicks: The area does have livestock\, so ticks a
 re present\, with the risk of Lyme’s Disease. Please check for ticks on 
 completion of your run.\n\nCoronavirus Safety Measures: the event will tak
