|Organiser||Fred Hamond (e-mail)|
|Planner||Frazer Howe (e-mail)|
The weather was unseasonably kind to us last night and I hope everyone enjoyed their run in such pleasant surroundings. Thanks to Frazer Howe for his ingenious planning, and Colin Smith (and his agent Wendy) for bringing the MOO. Peter Howe assisted with putting the controls out and in, and thanks also to Trevor 'Up in Arms' Wilson and Declan McGrellis for collecting them as well. Cecil Armstrong and Frazer assisted with the entries, Mark Pruzina sorted out Tom and Jerry (our trusty event computers), and Declan posted the final results on line. Finally, but by no means least, thanks to Alan Gartside for map printing. And to everyone who turned out! See you all next week at Lagan Meadows.
Don't forget that if you pre-enter by Monday midnight, your name will go into a draw for a spot prize! This week's winner was Simon Reeve who won a big box of luxury Belgian chocolates!
InstructionsThis evening's courses are a 4.3km Long and 2.4km Short. Registration opens at the MOO in the main car park beside Malone House at 6.15pm. Pre-entrants can pick up control descriptions from the MOO and proceed directly to the start; hired dibbers can also be picked up. Those entering on the night must complete the registration form at the MOO.
Starts are from 6.45pm to 7.30pm, with courses closing at 8.30pm. At the start, please give your name, dibber number and course to the Start official.
Please show consideration for other park users and beware of mountain bikers on the cycle trails in the wooded areas. Leggings are recommended to counteract nettles.
