  1. Spring Cup 1 update. Fred and I spent a rather damp morning finalising the controls. Maps for Green and Orange will be on 1:7500 scale and Yellow on 1:3000. Leg protection and good grips are advised and the Yellow (shortest) is not suitable for prams. A further update with timings etc will appear later in the week.

Note: That is the initial plan mapwise but if not the longer 2 will be on 1:10000.

  2. Update 2:

The start and registration will be near the carpark just south of the entrance to the castle, so best to enter by Innisfayle Park side.

3 courses on offer – Green 4.1km with 130m of climb (this is both a technically and physically challenging course and I would recommend novices or those not at full fitness to stick to the Orange).

Orange, 2.7km with 55m of climb and Yellow, 1.8km with 45m of climb.

Registration will be open from 1100 am with starts from 1130. Last starts at 1300 and course closes at 1500.

The going is quite wet and slippery and leg protection is recommended for the Green course.

    See you on Saturday.
