The WEE series came to an energetic end on Wednesday in Grove Park. Thanks to all those who volunteered to put on or help at the 12 evenings that made up the highly successful series and congratulations to all those who won prizes on either the Long or the Short courses. Prize giving details will be announced so keep an eye on the website. But all is not over…
The WOW series takes us through all the way to Christmas, starting next Wednesday in Barnett Demesne with the first of 2 coaching sessions. We will meet between 6.30 and 6.45 pm (note earlier time to make use of the lighter evening) for about an hour’s coaching in the basic skills used in orienteering. There will be 3 groups: absolute beginners, those with a little experience and this with lots of experience. On offer: some learning, lots of running about and lots of fun. All are most welcome, senior or junior and whether or not you are a club member. £3 for members, £4 for visitors.
