On Thursday April 25th we are going to have a workshop on the future direction of the club.
Nathalie Foehr, who is an expert in change management, has volunteered to help us with this. We are very happy that Mark McClure of SportNI has agreed to open the discussion.
Following Mike’s introduction, we will start with your ideas on what are the ‘blockers’ – things that may get in the way of running a successful club in the future.
Working in groups, we’ll then collect and prioritize the most promising opportunities to address these challenges.
By the end of the evening, we hope to have the bones of a plan for how the club should move forward.
The workshop will be held in the BB Centre, 59-81 Belvoir Dr, Castlereagh, Belfast BT8 7DJ from 7 – 9:30 pm. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
All members of the club are extremely welcome. The club is fortunate to have some very experienced orienteers who I’m sure will help, but the committee would also appreciate the involvement of younger and more inexperienced members. You are after all the future of the club.
We very much hope you come along and help us. Please either comment on this post or email firstname.lastname@example.org so that we have an idea of the number of participants. We should be able to accommodate up to 25 with no problem.
