Sadly, next Sunday sees the last Orchard County event of 2018. However, that can only mean one thing – it’s Christmas! So why not come and join us for a jaunt around the City of Armagh, followed by some festive fayre: Mince pies, mulled wine, satsumas, apple crumble ( just jesting… or am I??), and a Pac-man challenge.
As usual, there will be something for everyone, beginners and experienced alike as we provide our last taster for the upcoming OCO Urban league. There will be 3 courses on offer as per Portadown. The courses will follow a middle distance urban format. Under 16’s will explore the grounds of the Royal School and The Armagh Astropark, whilst over 16’s and accompanied juniors can get to know the City a bit better with a longer course through the streets and alleyways.
Those of you who are a little more observant will notice that start times are a little later than usual, this is so that for those who wish they can explore Armagh as darkness falls taking in the illuminations ( you may want to bring a torch if you do ).
Meeting point : NE side of the Mall, War Memorial end.
Registration : from 2.00 pm
Starts : 2.00 – 3.30 ish pm
Courses close : 4.30 pm
Cost : £3 per map.
