WEE 13 is heading out West for its annual trip to the sticks, so this is your chance to come and find out what we get up to out amongst the Orchards.
So, to all of you looking to make the journey – Welcome to the County of Apples.
If you believe all you read many of you might be expecting to see loads of cones and a maze. You may even be secretly looking forward to it. So who am I to disappoint? But that’s not what we’re about. You can expect much more than that out here, as many of those who have ventured this way will concur, and in keeping with our philosophy, alongside the 2 usual WEE courses there will be an extra course – something a little longer and a little harder, so if you’re not worried about your WEE ranking ( you’re never going to win one Mark ), are fed up being beaten by juniors, or just have a craving for more of a workout, I’ll have the course for you. All I would ask is that if you wish to do this extra course please let me know in advance, either by email, or message on Facebook, so that I can print the maps.
As many of you may know, work has now started on the new Leisure Centre complex at Craigavon Lakes so don’t be expecting to park in the usual place. Like the old Watersport’s Centre – we won’t be there. For this event Registration and parking will be at the Craigavon Civic Centre. Directions below.
Now PLEASE NOTE:
As a result of all the works, both courses will visit the urban environment and the WEE LONG course will be classed as an URBAN event. Looking at the usual list of runners and riders I’m happy that the course planned will be suitable for all teenagers as these will be quiet estate roads with a comprehensive path network. However, should you as parents feel a little concerned about your beloved offspring they can either run accompanied by yourselves or run the short course and then seek out the cones.
For the WEE SHORT, this too will see a few houses so all under 10’s should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

URBAN : ~4.9 km
Registration will be from 6:15 pm
Starts : 6.30 – 7.45 pm
