Develop Your Planning Skills – Sat 13 Jan 2018

Alongside the Controllers Course that NIOA are running over the weekend 13/14 Jan 2018 in Tollymore, I am offering a day’s worth of practical help in developing the skills used by planners of orienteering courses. I have space for a maximum of 6 willing participants who would like to understand how to move on from planning at WEE level. You don’t need to be a top class performance athlete, just someone with a small to medium amount of experience in very basic planning with the appetite to learn a bit more.

The day will start at the Tollymore Mountain Centre on the Saturday morning at 9.00 am and finish by 5.00 pm. Lunch will be provided and there is no cost! Bulk out those New Year’s resolutions with an ambition to become a better orienteer. This practical session will develop your understanding of what the planner of your most recent course had in mind when he set it – and will also set you up with confidence to join in the next level of club activity.

If you want a place, get in touch with Philip via mailto:publicity@niorienteering.org.uk or get a message to Susan or Olivia via Facebook. First come first served – and we’ll tailor the day to meet your ambitions
