Well done to all 33 who took part, running to gain points for LVO.
Today the club received £500 in Decathlon vouchers, plus a trophy, for finishing in second place on average points score. Andrew, Angela, Mandy, Wilbert and Trevor represented LVO at the awards ceremony.
Andrew, one of our newest members, amassed a massive 13,810 points cycling, and visiting all the beat boxes and in numerical order. He visited all 373 boxes, covering a distance of some 630 miles. Susan, I hear, visited all the boxes on foot. Impressive indeed.
It is hoped that the Sunday urban events which are currently running, will encourage some non-members who ran and enjoyed Beat the Street to take up orienteering. Come along and support.
