Wilbert Hollinger recorded first place at the “rest day” Trail-O, after making a quick dash from the Sprint event in the town of Ballater to Cambus o’May forest where he came first on the elite course. Wilbert was the only competitor to achieve 18 out of 20 controls. Club mate Stephen Gilmore was placed 10th in the field of 51 elite competitors with 15 correct; a staggering 10 out of 20 answers being Z. The elite Trail-O results are here.
