Event Description
Welcome
You are warmly invited to the Tollymore Festival of Orienteering 2019 which includes a group camping option and BBQ at Tollymore Forest Park, on the northern slopes of the Mourne Mountains. Guests from other orienteering clubs are especially welcome.
Orienteering
The orienteering will consist of:
- Friday 21 June an Urban Event in Newry.
- Saturday 22 June a Colour Event at Slieve Croob.
- Sunday 23 June a Fun Score at Tollymore Forest Park
Camping & BBQ
Camping is available on Thursday through to Sunday. £5 per adult per night, under 16s free. The camping field is the one next to the toilet block.
Saturday 6:30pm BBQ at campsite. Adults £11, under 16s £5.
Booking
Booking for the fixtures, BBQ and Camping are available by clicking the Enter Online button. Entry on the day for events is available, but not for the barbecue.

I am a newcomer to the sport and would like to attend this event. I’ve been advised to ask if I could borrow or rent a compass and SI tag before I purchase my own, would these be available on Saturday ?

I am bringing two 9 year olds with me to camp. We will all go to the BBQ. I will fmdo entry onn the day because I’m not sure if they can run in Newry, and on Saturday I don’t know what course we can do. Thank you.
