Event Description

This event will use SI Air contactless punching ONLY. Bring your own SIAC or borrow one at registration. Parking is free in the carpark at the National Trust coffee barn. Competitors are encouraged to make a voluntary donation of £1 to the National Trust in the cafe and to make use of their takeaway drinks and snacks. This will help with maintenance of the area.

The Start will be close to Registration.

There will be three courses:

• Green, 5.2 km
• Orange, 2.5 km
• Yellow, 1.4 km

The terrain is open mountain, which is currently very wet under foot, plus some paths and tracks. The map is Divis and Black Mountain, scale 1:10000.

Safety Notes

• Due to the uncertain weather at this time of year, Cagoules and Whistles may be compulsory
• Please avoid cattle, as some have young calves and are extremely protective
• ALL DOGS ON LEADS

Coronavirus

A number of measures have been put in place to provide for 2m Social Distancing and ensure your safety throughout this event. Please pay attention to them.

• Start Times are pre-allocated so that we can minimise the number of people at the various stages of the event. Please time your arrival so that you can register and get to the start just in time
• During the event please use the hand sanitisers provided at Registration and the Start to maintain hygiene.
• Do not touch the SI Control boxes except where an actual punch/dib is required
• During the race please be aware of who is around you and try to maintain distance especially when approaching Controls
• Please maintain your distance during any post-event socialising

IMPORTANT You MUST NOT attend the event if:

• You are shielding or have a condition that makes you Extremely Medically Vulnerable
• You are unwell with a cough, fever or other Covid-19 symptoms
• You have been in close contact with anyone who is suspected of or confirmed as having Covid-19 in the 14 days before this event
• You are supposed to be Self Isolating or are undergoing testing for suspected Coronavirus
• If you need to withdraw your entry due to Coronavirus restrictions we will refund your entry fee on request.
