The Second Lisburn City Race takes place on Saturday 24 September 2016 from the Lisburn Leisureplex, Lisburn BT28 1LP.
Registration will be at the LVO Mobile Orienteering Office which will be parked up in the Leisureplex carpark. This will likely be in the car park section bejond the main building as you drive in. Registration is from 11.30 with starts between 12.00 and 13.00. Club event fees of £9 per adult, £7 per senior/unwaged and £3 per junior or £17 per family apply. (£2 discounts for adult and senior members.) There is no charge to hire a SI card for the event.
Three courses will be on offer:
- Long approx 6km
- Medium approx 4km
- Short approx 2km
Only the short course is available for those who have not passed their 16th birthday as this course does not cross any road. However expect to run considerably more than the stated point-to-point differences.
Courses will take in new terrain which was not used for the 2015 Lisburn City Race. LVO are grateful to Sport Lisburn and Castlereagh for their financial assistance with this event.
